President Al-Assad receives Iraqi National Security Advisor

DAMASCUS,(ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad received on Sunday Iraqi national security advisor Falih Fayadh.

Talks dealt with efforts to find out a political solution to the crisis in Syria and the need to combat terrorism in the region.

Talks also dealt with preparations on holding Geneva 2 conference , the regional and international parties’ groundwork for creating the appropriate conditions to make the said conference a success.

The importance of improving the humanitarian conditions in Syria and the latest developments in the region were among topics reviewed during the meeting
