Iranian President, Sultan of Oman discuss strengthening bilateral relations

Tehran (ST): Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi and Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq Al Said in Tehran the strengthening of bilateral relations and the situation in the region.

Raisi said during a joint meeting: “Relations between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman have enhanced from the level of trade to the level of investment,” referring to the common positions and visions of strengthening regional rapprochement.

Raisi said that the capabilities available in various fields are among the available opportunities to expand cooperation between the two countries, calling for the settlement of the agreement to establish a joint fund to support investment development.

In turn, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq said: “The relations between Tehran and Muscat witnessed growth at bilateral and regional levels, and the exchange between them recorded a double growth,” calling for strengthening joint efforts in order to activate the capabilities of the two countries.
