Al Ghabbash  discusses with his Bahraini and Omani counterparts ways to enhance health cooperation

The Minister of Health Dr. Hasan Al Ghabbash discussed with the Bahraini Minister of Health Dr Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, and the Omani Minister of Health, Dr. Hilal Al-Sabti, ways to enhance health cooperation between them, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the General Assembly of the World Health Organization.

Al Ghabash discussed with his counterparts the need to intensify joint healthy cooperation and exchange scientific and practical experiences, in addition to reviewing issues related to healthy developments at the regional and global levels.

Dr .Ghabbash expressed his thanks and appreciation to the two countries for the humanitarian position and for providing aid during the earthquake disaster, pointing to the need of coordination and cooperation to improve the health services provided to citizens and reach comprehensive health coverage.

It is noteworthy that the World Health Assembly is the decision making body of the organization, and delegation from all its member states attend its work, and its agenda prepared by the Executive Council focuses on specific topics in the field of health.
