A flower exhibition and various cultural events including books and handicrafts in the Jaramana Eco-Park
The flower exhibition, which is being held by the Environment Pioneers Association and the Jaramana Municipal Council in Karm Hadid Park (the Ecological Garden) until the end of this month, includes a display of most types of flowers, and cultural events, including paintings, various books, handicrafts, and art concerts.
This exhibition was set up with the participation of Sen foundation for printing and publishing in the book fair, as well as fine artists that showed up in the exhibition.
The director of Dar Sin, AyhamSaqr, pointed out the importance of selecting titles that are appropriate to the idea of the exhibition, and selecting artists who have the ability to express and combine nature with the concerns of society.
The Damascus Countryside Branch of the Union of Fine Artists also participated in a group of paintings that expressed the beauty of flowers and their importance in nature and human life by artists Bassam Al-Hajli, RubaQarqout, Taghreed Al-Shaibani, Marwan Yassin, Abeer Brik and Rabih Salim.
Artist Suhail Abu Hamdan, head of the Damascus branch of the Union of Fine Artists, said that the paintings were limited to flowers because they are one of the most important components of the beauty of the Syrian and Levantine environment.
The Joy Makers Choir presented songs from the heritage, in addition to meaningful songs related to the concerns of society and people, composed by Hala Azzam.
A representative of Flashes Association said: Most of those who participated in the choir are from the association, and they aim to express the suffering of people with disabilities.
The exhibition opens from 10 am to 11 pm in Karm Hadid Park (Environmental Park) opposite to the new municipality building.
