Honoring 400 families of martyrs and the wounded in Lattakia

Lattakia Governorate, in cooperation with the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs, honored on Saturday 400 families of the martyrs and the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army, and awarded them medals of loyalty.

The event, held at the cultural center in Lattakia, included artistic performances .

Head of the Directorate of Martyrs, Wounded and Missing Affairs, Major General Bassam Al-Bari, said that honoring the families of the martyrs is an embodiment of the values and meanings of martyrdom, and an affirmation that the blood of the martyrs will remain as a beacon to achieve complete victory and return the smile to the faces of the children.

The governor of Lattakia, Eng. Amer Hilal, affirmed that Syria enjoys freedom and steadfastness thanks to the blood of the martyrs who will remain the living memory of the homeland.

The participants highly appreciated the sacrifices of the martyrs who offered their souls in defense of the homeland’s dignity.
