A stand in Al-Khalil city in support of the Palestinian prisoners in the occupation detention centers

Dozens of Palestinians participated today in a solidarity stand in the center of Al-Khalil (Hebron) city in the West Bank in support of prisoners in the Israeli occupation detention centers, especially those who are sick.
The Palestinian News Agency WAFA reported that the participants in the vigil organized by the Prisoners’ Club and the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs, in cooperation with the Palestinian national forces and the prisoners’ families’ committees, raised Palestinian flags, pictures of martyrs, and banners denouncing the occupation’s continuing crimes against prisoners, especially the policy of deliberate medical negligence.
The Director of the Prisoners’ Affairs Commission in Al-Khalil Ibrahim Najajra, confirmed that today’s stand is in solidarity with the sick prisoners, especially the cancer-stricken prisoners Walid Daqqa and Asif Al-Rifai, who are suffering from a serious deterioration in their health conditions amid tragic conditions of detention that threaten their lives.
For his part, Amin Azghair, the father of the prisoner Muhammad, appealed to all international humanitarian and human rights institutions to follow up on the tragic conditions of sick prisoners, support them and release them, stressing that the occupation prevents treatment and medical care for them, including his son who suffers from injuries and burns caused by the occupation, which led to his permanent disability.
