A Jordanian aid convoy arrived in Syria through the Nassib crossing to support those affected by the earthquake
Daraa (ST) – A convoy of humanitarian aid, provided by the Jordanian government, arrived in Syria on Monday through the Nassib border crossing on the Syrian-Jordanian borders. The convoy consisted of 14 trucks loaded with various relief materials.
The director of the Naseeb Center, Eng. Shadi Abazid, stated that the convoy carries food, medical supplies and other aid material, which were delivered to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Center to be transported to Damascus, and then distributed to those affected by the earthquake.
It is noteworthy that Jordan has so far sent 186 convoys carrying hundreds of tons of various kinds of aid, including an integrated dialysis unit, 10 ambulances, in addition to aid carried by 3 planes that arrived at the airports of Aleppo and Damascus.
