Presence of American occupation forces in Syria violates international law, says Drulák

Prague, (ST) –  The former Czech Deputy Foreign Minister, Professor Petr Drulák affirmed that the presence of the American occupation in the Syrian territories is a clear violation of international law. He pointed out that the United States, through its interventions, caused many wars and instability in countries neighboring Europe.

Drulák said in an interview with the Czech channel CNN Prima News: All the justifications provided by the United States for its interventions and aggressions do not absolve it of responsibility for what it caused in several countries, starting from Yugoslavia to the Middle East and others.

Drulák criticized the West’s policies towards Russia and its freezing of Russian assets. He also criticized the attempts of some western countries to provide funds from these assets to Ukraine. He considered that this behavior constitutes a dangerous matter and a violation of international law on which the global financial system is based.
