Food Expo 2023 Kicks off today in Damascus amid Arab and foreign participation

Damascus (ST): The activities of the 18th session of the Food and Packaging Industry Exhibition (Food Expo 2023), organized by the Delta International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, will open today at the Damascus Fairgrounds, with the support of the Ministry of Industry, and the participation of major national food industries firms, and many Arab and foreign companies.

The director of the organizing group, Ghiath Shamaa, explained in a statement to SANA news reporter that the five-day exhibition provides many commercial, marketing and promotional opportunities for participating companies locally, and conducting export contracts and deals, which opens new markets for Syrian food products.

According to Shamaa, the exhibition enables specialists to view the latest international technologies used in the food industry and its packaging, in addition to raw and semi-finished materials, and to exchange ideas for the development and modernization of existing facilities, the establishment of new industrial facilities and the introduction of new products.
