Army accomplishes remarkable achievement in Deir Attiya

Provinces, (ST)- “After a swift and accurate operation,the army units on Thursday took full control over Deir Attiya ,wiping out the terrorists’ last groupings there, “a military source told the official news agency.

Elsewhere, units of the armed forces carried out several operations against terrorists in a number of areas nationwide , killed and injured terrorists and destroyed their hideouts and gatherings.

In Damascus countryside,a military source said that army units discovered during their pursuit operations in Qara city a hideout of terrorists’ leaders and a network of tunnels containing big amounts of weapons, ammunition and a workshop for manufacturing explosives, in addition to seizing big amounts of stolen medical tools and equipment.

Another army unit foiled,in cooperation with guard forces, a terrorist group’s infiltration attempt from the Lebanese Arsal town into al-Qalamoun area, killing or injuring all of its members.

In Aleppo, army units destroyed terrorist cars loaded with weapons and ammunition in the area surrounding the Industrial city in Sheikh Najjar, Handarat, Maaret al-Artik and al-Rashidain.

Other army units eliminated armed terrorist groups in al-Mansoureh, the Journalists Association, Sheikh Said, surrounding the central prison and al-kindi Hospital, Salah Eddin , Brakat al-Arman and al-Marjeh.

A mortar, rocket launching pads for terrorists were destroyed in the villages of al-Jadideh, Kwaires, Rasem al-Abboud, Blas, south of Binan, and Erbid, a car equipped with 23mm anti-craft mortar in Khan al-Assal was also destroyed.

Army units killed dozens of terrorists in villages and towns in Atman ,Wardat village to the southern-east of al-Lajat area,Nawa in Daraa, and destroyed their dens and groupings .

In Quneitra, a military source said that an army unit destroyed terrorists’ groupings  in Bariqa town, killing many terrorists and injuring the others.
