The Arab League meeting at the summit level starts in Jeddah today

Jeddah (ST): After several preparatory meetings, the work of the Arab League Council meeting begins at the summit level, in its thirty-second session, in the presence of about 15 leaders, presidents, kings and princes of Arab countries.

News correspondents in Jeddah stated that, according to the scheduled program, the Arab Summit meeting will start at 2:30 pm in the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, and before the start of the meeting, the presidents and leaders will meet at 2:00 pm to take the group photo.

Correspondents indicated that the opening session of the summit meeting will be public, and will include a speech by Algeria, then the presidency of the session will be handed over to Saudi Arabia to deliver its speech and manage the meeting, followed by a speech by the Secretary-General of the Arab League.

The first session will also include speeches by the Secretary General of the United Nations, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission and the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union.
