Scientific cooperation between Al-Baath University and North Caucasus Federal University 

Dr. Abdelbaset Al-Khatib, Rector of Al-Baath University, on Thursday discussed with a delegation from the Russian North Caucasus Federal University ways to develop scientific and cultural cooperation in the field of mathematics and informatics and to activate the terms of the agreement signed between the two parties.

During the meeting, Al-Khatib pointed to the importance of the Syrian-Russian relations at the educational, research and cultural level, calling for doubling the efforts to conduct joint scientific research, especially in the fields of mathematics and informatics, which has become one of the most important requirements of our time and a basic part of research that seeks to put forward new ideas that contribute to building and developing the society.

For his part, the members of the North Caucasus Federal University delegation expressed the readiness of the Russian side to cooperate in various research and educational issues to activate the agreement signed between the two parties and apply it realistically to serve the two peoples.

After that, meetings were held for researchers in the field of informatics and mathematics from both sides to discuss aspects of cooperation and exchange of experiences and to work together with the aim of developing scientific research.
