Minister of Oil discusses with his Iranian counterpart enhancing cooperationin the field of oil, gas and petrochemical industries
On May 18th, Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Firas Kaddour discussed with his Iranian counterpart Javad Auchi, ways of enhancing cooperation in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical industries between the two countries.
During the meeting, Kaddour stressed the importance of implementing the agreements concluded between the two countries in a way that supports the economy and helps the two sides face challenges and overcome obstacles facing the path of progress.
Dr. Kaddour stressed that the exchange of experiences and the signing of memorandums of understanding in the field of oil and gas industry and its derivatives contribute to the advancement of bilateral economic relations to the level of political relations, in the interest of both parties.
The meeting was attended by the Syrian ambassador in Tehran, Dr. Shafiq Dayoub.
