Syria, China to enhance health cooperation
Damascus, (ST) – The Minister of Health, Dr. Hassan Al-Ghobash discussed with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China Shi Hongwei means of enhancing health cooperation between the two countries.
Dr. Al-Ghobash, during the meeting that took place on Sunday at the Ministry’s building in Damascus stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two countries. He referred to the effective Chinese position by providing relief aid during the earthquake disaster.
In turn, Ambassador Hongwei stressed the need to strengthen support and communication between the two sides in the health field, and to increase work and coordination, especially training and exchange of experiences, in addition to developing relations in this field.
