National Earthquake Center: 12 tremors recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus- The National Earthquake Center on Saturday announced that 12 tremors were recorded during the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the center said that its stations have recorded 6 earthquakes in Turkey with an intensity ranging between magnitude 2.5 and 4.0, in addition to 4 tremors in Liwa Iskenderun ranging between magnitude 1.6 and 2.3 on Richter scale.

A 1.7 magnitude tremor was also recorded 18 km west of Lattakia province and a magnitude 2.7 tremor 17 km southwest of Lattakia, according to the center.
