Abdollahian, Bin Farhan discuss boosting bilateral relations

The Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdollahian and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan in a phone conversation on Friday discussed developments in bilateral relations between the two countries.

Abdollahian expressed satisfaction over the progress in the rapprochement the two countries achieved, pointing out that Tehran has taken all steps in preparation for the official opening of its political mission and consulate in Saudi Arabia.

He noted the two sides’ keenness on enhancing cooperation and improving relations.

For his part, Farhan stressed his country’s positive vision on the future of relations between the two countries, noting the notable progress in this regard during the past two months which indicated true intention to boost this rapprochement.

He expressed hope that the ambassadors of the two countries will help facilitate bilateral cooperation.
