Lavrov, his Saudi counterpart discuss developments in the Middle East

Moscow – Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan discussed in a phone conversation on Friday developments in the Middle East.

TASS News Agency quoted the Russian Foreign Ministry as saying in a statement on Friday “during the phone conversation, the two sides exchanged view points on the main issues in the regional and international agenda. They focused on the situation in the Middle East and North Africa, including the Palestinian cause.”

The ministry’s statement added that the two sides discussed means of finding comprehensive political solutions to several complicated issues in the region.
