St. Petersburg International Legal Forum kicks off with participation of Syria

With the participation of Syria, the activities of the 11th  St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will be launched today in Russia under the title “International Cooperation of Ministers of Justice… Work Prospects and New Methods”.

Minister of Justice, Judge Ahmed Al-Sayyed, will deliver the speech for Syria tomorrow in front of the forum, which is an important and influential platform for discussions on a wide range of international legal issues between the justice ministers of the participating countries, senior jurists and practicing lawyers, in addition to academic students.

Last year, Syria participated in the forum, where two judicial agreements were signed with the Russian Federation on extradition and mutual assistance in criminal matters.
