The Syrian delegation participating in the quadripartite meeting arrives in Moscow

Moscow (ST): The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic arrived in Moscow on Tuesday to participate in the quadripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Syria, Russia, Iran and Turkey. The delegation is led by Dr. Faisal Al-Mikdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.

The Syrian delegation will hold bilateral meetings with both the Russian and Iranian delegations. It will stress the need to end the Turkish occupation of the Syrian territories and will call for the withdrawal of all illegal foreign forces from the country, for halting interference in Syrian internal affairs and for stopping support for terrorism.

The Syrian delegation also comprises Dr. Ayman Soussan, Assistant Foreign Minister, Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari, the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Jamal Najeeb, Director of the Minister’s Office, and Counselor Ehab Hamed from the Minister’s Office.
