The Ministry of Health Launches a Campaign to follow up on children who have not been vaccinated  and to promote routine vaccination from one day to 5 years old

The Ministry of Health launched a campaign to follow up on children who have not been vaccinated and to promote routine vaccination from one day to 5 years old. The campaign continues until the 11th of this month in various governorates.

According to the Director of the Primary Health Care at the Ministry, Dr Razan Al Tarabishi, the campaign is being implemented in 981-health centers, through 821 mobile teams covering various areas, with participation of 5,345 health workers.

According to Dr Tarabishi, the campaign aims to assess the vaccination status of about 2 million and 800 thousand children in various governorates. She pointed out that the aim of this campaign is to ensure that children complete all the vaccinations included in the national vaccination program, follow up with children who drop out of it, give them the vaccine, and provide them with a new vaccination card.

The campaign targeted the governorates of Damascus and Damascus Countryside.

It is noteworthy that the vaccines included in the national vaccination program enhance the immunity of children and protect them from the dangerous childhood diseases.
