Lavrov: Russia will respond to the Kiev regime’s terrorist attack at the appropriate place and at its own time

New Delhi (St): Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed that Russia will respond to the Ukrainian terrorist attack on the Kremlin, in the appropriate place and form, stressing that the Kiev regime cannot carry out its attacks without the approval of its Western sponsors.

Lavrov added during a press conference following the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization: “The member states of the Organization condemned the Ukrainian terrorist attack on the Kremlin, noting that Washington does not stop supplying the Kiev regime with weapons and military equipment.”

On the possibility of reaching a settlement to the Ukrainian crisis, Lavrov said: “Everyone is now aware of the geopolitical nature of the current Ukrainian crisis, and Russia is open to prospects for a peaceful settlement of the crisis, but its patience has limits,” stressing that the Ukrainian crisis and other crises cannot be resolved without the West abandoning its quest to impose its hegemony on the world.

On the other hand, Lavrov stressed that the members of the Shanghai Organization reached an agreement on expanding cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, and on the need to move to national currencies in trade exchange between the countries of the Organization.
