The Iranian Revolutionary Guard dismantles a terrorist network in the north of the country

Tehran (ST): The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the dismantling of the “Local Youth” terrorist network and the arrest of its leaders in Babolsar, in the north of the country.

The commander of the Quds Force, Mustafa Bazond, said in a statement today that this network, since the beginning of the recent riots in the country, has been collecting information by filming and recording fake videos, and sending them to the hostile Persian-speaking media, in addition to attracting young people and exploiting them in carrying out their terrorist acts and presenting false promises to them, such as facilitating asylum in other countries and so on.

He pointed out that the Revolutionary Guard forces, through intelligence operations, arrested the leaders of this network, who were found to be in constant contact with agents abroad, to plan anti-Iranian operations and stir up strife at home.
