Iran’s Raisi: Presence of US forces in the Middle East region poses a threat to its security and stability
Tehran – President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran has stressed that the presence of the American forces in the Middle East region poses a threat to its security and stability, reiterating that continuous communications between countries of the region will lead to improving the situation in general.
The Iranian News Agency (IRNA) quoted Raisi as saying during a press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Abdul Latif Rashid, who is visiting Tehran, that “Iran’s relations with Iraq are good. We seek to enhance trade with Iraq after the value of trade exchange between the two countries hit more than 10 billion Euros.
He pointed out that the security of Iraq is important for Iran, noting that the smallest insecurity in Iraq is considered to be insecurity in Iran.
For his part, the Iraqi president said that his visit to Tehran came to affirm that the relations between the two countries are firm and unchangeable.
