Syrian Army Resume Storming Terrorism Across Country

Provinces, (ST)-The Syrian Arab Forces on Saturday continued eliminating the armed terrorist groups in different provinces, killing many terrorists and destroying dens of others.

Units of the armed forces killed all members of terrorist groups in the neighborhoods of Berza and Qaboun in Damascus, including ringleader of the so-called “Saifollah al-Masloul brigade”, and seized snipers, machine guns and different ammunitions. 

A terrorists’ den containing artillery and mortar shells used by terrorists against the residential areas in Damascus was destroyed at al-Kornaish area in Gobar neighborhood.

A military source told a local media that an army unit in  cooperation with the locals seized an armed terrorist group’s den in al-Kusweh area, in Damascus countryside that included automatic rifles, sniper rifles, wireless communication devices and amounts of various ammunitions.

Army units also eliminated many terrorists and destroyed their dens and their criminal tools in Erbin, Harasta, Babila, Daraia, al-Zabadani and Khan al-Sheih in Damascus countryside.

In Homs, units of the army confiscated boats loaded with weapons, munitions in al-Rastan lake, storming dens of terrorists in many neighborhoods and towns of the province.

 The army eliminated members of armed terrorists groups in al-Zara, al-Houla, foiling terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into al-Ghasibiya village, according to a military source.

The source added that an army unit killed a number of terrorists while trying to attack a military check point in Asmad town in al-Mukharam.

Another army unit clashed with terrorists who were driving boats in al-Rastan lake while trying to reach al-Houla area, killing the terrorists on board and confiscating the boats with weapons.

In Lattakia’s northern countryside, units of the army destroyed two cars loaded with weapons and ammunitions and dens of armed terrorist groups in al-Shahroura, al-Hayat and al-Atira villages.

A leader, labeled by “Shishani buffalo”,  of an armed terrorist group belonging to the so-called “Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham ISIS” was indentified among the dead terrorists.

Terrorist groupings in Dorin and Hzirin villages in Salama district were destroyed.

In Idleb countryside, units of the armed forces killed 10 terrorists in a special operation that targeted their den in Nahliya village in Ariha, and destroyed  a number of the terrorists’ cars containing weapons and ammunitions.

Other terrorists’ dens and groupings were destroyed in the villages of Zarzour and al-Janoudiyeh in Jisr al-Shughour and number of the terrorists were killed.

An army unit destroyed  weapons and ammunitions store and a den of leaders of armed terrorist groups in Abo al-Duhour area.

Units of the army eliminated armed terrorist groups with all their members in a series of intensified special operations in Aleppo and its countryside.

Terrorist groupings and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed on Aleppo-Raqqa road and north of the industrial city of Sheikh Najjar.

An army unit foiled a terrorist attempt to infiltrate into the secure areas in Salah Eddin, al-Ashrafieh, al-Hamidieh and al-Sweiqa in Aleppo old city, killing and injuring several terrorists.

Director of Homs Oil Refinery, Akram Sultan, said that a worker was injured as a fuel tank was set ablaze by a mortar shell fired by terrorists.
