New issue of “Arab Heritage” Magazine focuses on disseminating culture of Intangible heritage

Damascus-(ST) – The new edition of the “Arab Heritage” Magazine, which is entering its forty-fourth year, presents a number of topics that include development and modernization and link between originality and modernity, and the endeavor to spread the culture of intangible heritage.

The Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Farouk Aslim believed that the magazine seeks to activate the relationship between cultural, educational and scientific institutions, and works to strengthen the literary presence and the Arabic language in cultural and media interaction. He added that  the magazine also seeks the striving for the culture of originality and modernity.

In the issue, Dr. Ammar Al-Nahar, Muhammad Ali Habash, and Dr. Fayez Al-Daya participated in the file of the role of scholars of the Arab-Islamic civilization in establishing modern sciences, “Space as A model,” the science of extracting water and irrigation in the Arab scientific heritage, shadow imagination, text renewal and technology.

The edition also included the attempts to collect the poetry of Ubadah ibn Ma’a al-Sama’ by Dr. Abd al-Qadir Salahiya, Sufi anxiety and its role in refining spiritual awareness in models of the Sufi heritage by Dr. Maysa Yousef, and predatory animals in the favorites, their connotations and themes, by Dr. Muhammad Na’na.
