Tabbaa stresses the strength of the Syrian-Russian educational relations

Damascus- Minister of Education Darem Tabbaa and Chairman of the Christian World Association in Russia Alexei Cherkezov on Monday discussed enhancing relations between Syria and Russia in the field of education.

During a meeting held at the Education Ministry’s building in Damascus, Tabbaa affirmed that the Syrian-Russian relations are strong, particularly in the fields of education and culture. He called for boosting bilateral relations and for presenting joint work by students due to the presence of Syrian students studying the Russian language.

For his part, Cherkezov voiced the association’s readiness to support and follow up on initiatives that benefit the Syrian and Russian sides, noting cooperation in the field of developing the Russian language curricula in Syria.
