Armed forces carry out successful operation in Berza

Provinces, (ST)-Terrorists are still defeated and their weapons are destroyed thanks to the successful operations carried out by the Syria’s armed forces against terrorist groups across the country.

A unit of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ den in al-Khal area, killing a number of terrorists during a successful operation carried out by them on Thursday in Berza neighborhood  in Damascus.

In Aleppo, A military source told a local media that a big number of terrorists were killed in a concentrated operations against terrorists’ groupings in many areas of the city.

The source added that the army units destroyed a pick-up car equipped with heavy machinegun in Dahret al-Shurfeh in the Southern countryside of Aleppo and a number of terrorist cars in Anadan, Deir Jamal roundabout, Kfer Naseh in the northern countryside and on al-Kastilo-al-Meslmiyeh road and north of al-Nakarin.

Units of the armed forces clashed with armed terrorist groups in a number of neighborhoods in the old city and Bustan al-Qaser, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying their tools.

In Homs, a military source said that a unit of the armed forces destroyed a boat loaded with weapons and ammunition in al-Rastan lake while an armed terrorist group was trying to smuggle to terrorists in al-Hula area.

The source added that all members of the armed terrorist group were killed and injured , while another army unit killed a number of terrorists in a number of Homs villages and destroyed a bulldozer in the farm of Um al-Anz in Talbiseh while an armed terrorist group was setting up sand barricades and  blocking roads.

The source pointed out that an army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group who were hiding inside one of the residential buildings near Mustafa Pacha Mosque in Bab Hud neighborhood.

In Idleb countryside, a military source said that army units confronted armed terrorist group’s attack against a military checkpoint in al-Za’alaneh area in Idleb countryside, killing all members of the group.

Army units crashed terrorists’ groupings in many villages of Idleb and destroyed their weapons and tools.

In Daraa, a unit of the armed forces eliminated all members of an armed terrorist group and destroyed a mortar in Inkhel town in the province’s countryside.

Another army unit clashed with an armed terrorists’ group in the area surrounding the National Hospital in Daraa, killing and injuring all its members.

Meanwhile,three citizens were martyred and 25 others were injured due to mortar shells fired by terrorists on Haj Atef Square in al-Mahatta (station) district in Homs.

In Damascus, six civilians got wounded by mortar shells fired by terrorists in the  neighborhoods of Ruken Eddeen, Bab Touma, al-Qassaa, al-Abbasyeen and Masaken Berza.

The mortar shells also caused material damages to the areas they landed on.

In Daraa countryside, terrorists blew up a vehicle transporting a number of Jordanian intellectuals, writers and journalists who were on a visit to Syria, wounding five of them slightly.

The Jordanian media expert, Atef Zaid al-Kilani, who were in the vehicle, told a local media that terrorists remotely detonated an explosive device attached to the vehicle 10 km away from the Jordanian-Syrian borders.

This terrorist attack is targeting all Jordanian supporters to Syria in the face of this aggression and blot contrived against it.
