Syria condemns US occupation’s continuous theft of Syrian oil and national resources

Damascus- Syria has condemned the US occupation forces’ plundering of Syrian oil and national resources, stressing that this US banditry behavior violates the international humanitarian law, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a tweet on Saturday.

Syria also called on the United States to stop supporting terrorism and separatist militia and to immediately withdraw its forces from the country.

During the past weeks, the US occupation forces continued with their looting of Syrian oil and other Syrian wealth, and they smuggled them through northern Iraq to Turkey, the ministry said, pointing out that these banditry acts lead to the impoverishment of the Syrian people and prolong their suffering.

“Syria calls on the US administration to stop these looting acrts and pay compensation to the Syrian people”, the ministry added, asserting that the US acts as pirates and a bandit group.

The US should stop supporting terrorism and separatist militia and immediately withdraw its occupying forces from the Syrian territories, the ministry went on to say.
