Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian has stressed that Iran sees no limits to the promotion of relations with the United Arab Emirates in various fields.
He made the remarks during a telephone conversation with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Saturday.
He said that Tehran-Abu Dhabi ties are progressing, noting that active meetings and consultations are underway between officials from the two countries.
For his part, the Emirati foreign minister underscored the importance of boosting bilateral ties to serve the common interests of the two neighboring countries, noting the abundant opportunities for joint cooperation in different fields.
Al Nahyan hailed the increase in the level of cooperation among countries of the region in recent weeks, including the restoration of diplomatic ties between Tehran and Riyadh and the new developments in Syria.
