US occupation continues to steal and smuggle Syrian oil

Hasakah- The plundering of Syria’s natural resources by the US occupation forces continues with the aim of depriving the Syrian people from benefiting from their national wealth in the light of the suffocating economic blockade imposed by the West on Syria.

Over the past hours, the US occupation forces brought out, in batches, 34 tankers loaded with stolen Syrian oil from the oilfields of Al-Jazira region and smuggled them to their bases in Iraq through the illegal Al-Mahmoudiya crossing, sources in Al-Yaroubiya area told a SANA reporter.

The occupation forces also smuggled 40 other oil tankers to the Iraqi territories through the illegal Al-Walid crossing, the sources added.

Earlier this month, the US occupation forces brought out a convoy of 77 vehicles, including 32 tankers, loaded with oil stolen from the Syrian oilfields, to the occupation bases in the Iraqi territories via the illegal Al-Walid crossing.
