Al-Attar: Restoring Concepts and Values Bind all Arabs

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Vice President Dr. Najah al-Attar stressed the importance of Arab cultural security in the face of the terrorist attack , targeting our nation and the need to raise awareness , with the existence of Arab ” Arab rulers trying to undermine resistant thought “, pointing out that culture and struggle are the forefront in defense of homelands .
During a meeting yesterday with the delegation representing the Jordanian Writers Association and members of the Jordanian People’s Committee in support of Syria Dr. Attar underlined the need to restore the concepts and values that bind all Arabs at the cultural , economic and social levels, pointing out that ” there is a group that claimed Culture but backed Takfirists who are targeting hospitals, schools , mosques and churches in our country, once was a safe haven.”

Dr. Attar indicated that powers hostile to Syria and the Arab world are not confined to dividing the country since the Sykes-Picot agreement , but worked on the creation of what is called the ” New Middle East ” , and today they invent the idea of the “Arab Spring ” ,stressing that deeply rooted national thought and faith in Syria and Arabism are the doctrine for the sake of which the Syrian Arab army is fighting against those who are targeting people in the name of religion .
She pointed that terrorists continued assaults on all people ‘s components and invented ” Jihad marriage ” in Syria, the country of high values , noting the Syrian honorable position concerning the war on Iraq and how Syria embraced all who asked its help.

She stressed that the Syrians are determined to fight and struggle to stop terrorists and achieve victory against colonial and Zionist schemes, despite the unjust blockade which targets the Syrian people, noting the position of the Jordanian delegation in support of Syria.
For their part, members of the delegation stressed their stand with Syria by all means, asserting that the colonial powers and terrorist tools wanted to target Syria’s values , ethics , culture and civilization .
They stressed that the people of Jordan want Syria to be secure and stable because Arabs share common fate, destiny and, and face the same conspiracy against their values and ethics, extending tribute to the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army , makers of Syria ‘s approaching victory.
