On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Hama governorate distributes thousands of food baskets to those affected by the earthquake

Hama (ST): The operations room for the emergency response to the earthquake in Hama governorate distributed thousands of food baskets and relief materials to those affected by the earthquake in various regions of the governorate.

The Secretary-General of the governorate, Mahmoud Qassab, stated in a statement to news reporter that the distribution of this aid is taking place according to a systematic plan that focuses on the families most affected by the earthquake, which were identified by the public safety committees because their homes are about to fall, and they have been evacuated from them.

 Distribution also will involve the remaining affected people during the coming period.

In turn, the coordinator of the operations room for the emergency response to the earthquake in the governorate Muhammad Abu Jadaan explained in a similar statement that a convoy of aid was prepared, including 13 trucks to be distributed to the victims of the earthquake, according to the response plan to assist 5,500 most affected families.
