To Combat Terrorism Is The ultimate Goal of Syria : al-Ja’afari underscores

NEW YORK, (ST)-Bashar al-Jaafari, the Permanent Representative of Syria to  the UN asserted on Tuesday that the Syrian government is combating the Qatari- and Saudi-funded takfiriterrorist groups on behalf of the whole world.

Prior to voting on a Saudi-proposed draft resolution against Syria which is entitled as  ‘Human Rights Condition in the Syrian Arab Republic’,al-Ja’afari addressed the UN General Assembly,  Social, Humanitarian Cultural Affairs Committee ,the third Committee.Al-Jaafarilambasted the Saudi, Qatari and Turkish regimes as being fully culpable for the continuation of terrorist acts that target civilians, military personnel and vandalism of infrastructure in Syria.

He also added that the draft resolution submitted by the Saudi delegation on behalf of its allies criticizing the human rights situation in Syria is but a stunning paradox in itself considering the black record of the Saudi regime has in this regard.

“The Saudi regime is the least obsequious one to speak about the human rights,” al-Ja’afari added, stressing that “the Saudi delegation had better acquaint the audience with the untold miserable human rights condition in their own country.”
