Al-Mikdad visits Tunisia Monday for talks on enhancing bilateral relations 

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad will visit Tunisia today at the invitation of his Tunisian counterpart Nabil Ammar to discuss means to boost the Syrian-Tunisian brothetly relations, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

On April 12th, Syria and Tunisia issued a joint statement in which they announced that in response to Tunisian President Kais Saied’s initiative to appoint an ambassador for his country in Damascus, Syria decided to reopen its embassy in Tunisia and appoint an ambassador there.
