Syria has recently taken part in the 3rd China International Consumer Products Expo that concluded its activities on Saturday in the Chinese city of Haikou.
The Syrian pavillion contained traditional products such as laurel soap, olive oil, Damascene brocade, shell wood, aromatic oils, cosmetics and tourism promotion publications. The pavillion witnessed a notable turnout by visitors.
Fadi Wassouf and Ziyad Zaytoun, the diplomatic attaches at the Syrian Embassy in Beijing, explained the situation of Syria’s tourism sector which has started to recover and talked about the abundant tourism investment opportunities in the country and the many Syria tourist sites, particularly the historical and cultural ones which attract Chinese tourists.
