Syrian Ambassador to Belarus: Syria clings to its right to restore the occupied Syrian Golan

The Syrian Ambassador to Belarus Mohammad Al-Omrani has stressed that Syria strongly clings to its right to restore the occupied Syrian Golan by all possible means guaranteed by the international law. He also affirmed Syria’s support for the Palestinian people’s right to establish the Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital and for the right of all the Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.

Al-Omrani made the remarks during a celebration organized by the Iranian Embassy in Belarus and the Islamic Religious Association at Minsk Grand Mosque marking International Al-Quds Day.

The Syrian diplomat reiterated that Palestine has been the main cause of Syria, the Arabs and Muslims.

Commemorating International Al-Quds Day coincides with dangerous development and events taking place in the occupied Palestinian territories, Al-Omrani said, noting the daily attacks carried out by the Israelis on Al-Aqsa Mosque and Al-Aqsa Compound under the protection of Israeli occupation and its extremist racist government amid the deadly silence of the international community over these US-backed Israeli aggressive practices.
