Iran: World Quds Day rallies begin in various cities of the country

Tehran (ST): Today, mass marches took place in the capital, Tehran, and various Iranian cities, to commemorate World Quds (Jerusalem)Day and to express support for the Palestinian people and rejection of the Israeli occupation.

IRNA news agency stated that the march in Tehran began with the massive participation of Iranian citizens, and in the presence of senior political and military officials, under the slogan “Palestine is the centerpiece of the unity of the Islamic world – Jerusalem is on the threshold of liberation.”

The participants raised Palestinian flags and banners praising the Palestinian cause, calling for support for the Palestinian people, and denouncing Zionist crimes.

These marches are held in solidarity with occupied Palestine and the resistance in more than a thousand cities and villages in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
