Authorities in Qamishli seize a large amount of drugs and arrest a smuggler
Hasakeh (ST): The competent authorities in the city of Qamishli seized a large quantity of Captagon narcotic pills from a fuel tank in the city’s countryside.
A source in the competent authorities told a news reporter that “through the availability of information about the activity of a gang that is involved in drug smuggling, promotion and trade, and after follow-up, monitoring and research work, the competent authorities raided one of the gang’s dens in the countryside of Qamishli, and seized hundreds of kilograms of the narcotic pills “Captagon” that was hidden in a fuel tank prepared for this purpose.”
The source pointed out that “one of the gang members has been arrested, and that research and investigation work is continuing to bring all members of the gang to the competent judiciary.”
