400 families of army martyrs and wounded personnel honored in Tartous

In recognition of their sacrifices in defense of the homeland, 400 families of the army martyrs , the wounded army personnel and a number of people with disabilities were honored .

The honoring ceremony, held at the Arab Culture Center in Tartous, was organized by the “Al-Sabil” Charitable Association in cooperation with the Tartous Governorate and the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor.

According to the Director of Social Affairs and Labor in Tartous Walladah Jalab, the event confirmed the importance of humanitarian community work along with charitable and voluntary initiatives to promot the values of love, cohesion and social solidarity.

In turn, the vice-president of the association, Saleh Muhammad, pointed out that the association seeks to reach the various segments of society, who are in need of support and assistance including orphans, cancer patients, the wounded army personnel and the families of martyrs.
