Open day for children in Daraa countryside marking the International Day for Awareness about Mine Threat
Daraa (ST) – The branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Daraa organized an open day in Sheikh Maskin city in rural Daraa on the occasion of the International Day for Awareness about the Mine Threat, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
The head of the Red Crescent in Daraa, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masalmeh, stated that141 school students participated in the activities, indicating that the activities included a puppet theater, Hakawati (storyteller), and kinetic and recreational activities. The volunteers in this event tried to deliver messages of safety and protection from the dangers of the remnants of war to the participants.
