Iran: New weapons for the ground force unveiled

Tehran (ST): The Iranian army unveiled more than a thousand types of new equipment and weapons for the ground force.

The Iranian Fars News Agency stated that on the eve of the Army Day, and within the framework of strengthening the combat capabilities of the Iranian army, 1084 types of new equipment and weapons , rehabilitated and produced by the Army’s ground force, were unveiled in a review attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Major General Abd al-Rahim Mousavi.

The new equipment and weapons include a new tank carrier, a grenade launcher simulator, an integrated electronic warfare system, equipment and weapons in the fields of armor, artillery, missiles, drones, helicopters, and electronic warfare, including the Diamond missile, a standing bomb, an aurora missile, air defense systems, and 105 and 155 mm cannons.
