Russia: Supplying Kiev regime with air defense missiles threatens global civilian air traffic

Moscow (ST): The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the supply of Western weapons and air defense missiles to Ukraine threatens global air traffic.

The ministry said in a statement reported by Sputnik agency: “Western weapons that reach Ukraine are spread all over the world and in other regional conflict areas, and are transferred to the hands of criminals, terrorists and extremists,”. The ministry added the importance of raising the issue of the safety of civilian air traffic in the world will soon appear, including over Europe as a result of this situation.

The ministry pointed out that “Western weapons that were placed in the hands of the forces of Kiev regime and its mercenaries are killing the civilian population, including women and children, in the Donetsk and Lughansk republics and the Kherson and Zaporozhye provinces,” pointing out that the European Union and its countries, despite this, transferred weapons and military equipment worth more than twelve billion Euros to Kiev, and it provided it with heavy weapons, planes and tanks and agreed to supply its forces with one million artillery shells by the end of the year, and it does not prevent the bringing of mercenaries from EU countries to Ukraine to participate in the fighting.
