Solidarity stand in Tulkarem in support of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation detention centers

Occupied Al-Quds- (ST): Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in Tulkarem in the West Bank, called on the international community not to be satisfied with statements of denunciation and condemnation of the practices of the Israeli occupation forces against prisoners, but to take urgent action to end their suffering in the detention centers.

The Palestinian “Wafa” news agency stated that the Palestinians, in the stand, organized by the Palestinian national forces, and the families of the prisoners and those in solidarity with them in front of the Red Cross office in Tulkarem, raised the Palestinian flag, pictures of the martyrs and prisoners and banners denouncing silence regarding the occupation’s continuing crimes against the Palestinians, especially the policy of deliberate medical negligence, torture and abuse, and the continued detention of Palestinians children and patients.

The participants called on humanitarian and human rights institutions, including the Red Cross, to intervene urgently to provide international protection for the prisoners in light of the brutal and inhumane violations against them, especially the cancer-sick prisoner Walid Daqqa.
