General Hussein Ishaq

The hero martyr, General Hussein Ishaq, was martyred fighting with his comrades against terrorist groups on the outskirts of the town of Al-Malihah in Damascus countryside.

Hussein joined the Syrian Arab Army and graduated as lieutenant . He was an exceptional leader ,brave , clever, and loving to his country Syria.

The martyr became the director of the Air Defense College in Homs, until he was promoted to the rank of major general and assumed command of the Air Defense Department.

On the seventeenth of May, he drew up a military plan to take control of six blocks of buildings of the town of Al-Malihah .

When the battle started against armed men in the town, one of the armed terrorist men threw an explosive device at him and he was injured by shrapnel. He was taken to the military hospital in Mezza where he was martyred there, so he deserves the title of “the star of the martyrs of Ghouta.”
