2nd “Halab Al-Khair” Shopping Festival in Aleppo aims at easing the cost of living burden on citizens

The holy month of Ramadan, as in every year, witnesses various charitable activities that aim at reducing the burden of the cost of living on citizens in the light of the difficult economic circumstances caused by years of war and blockade that have been targeting the country.

In Aleppo, the 2nd Halab Al-Khair Shopping Festival was opened on Friday in Hananou Market in Al-Faid neighborhood with the participation of 70 public and private sector companies as well as charities.

The festival is being held by Al-Kinana Company for Exhibitions in cooperation with Aleppo governorate.

Different kinds of food materials and consumer goods, sweets, canned food, detergents, Laurel soap, clothes and shoes and various products are exhibited in the event.

According to member of the Executive Bureau of Aleppo Governorate Council Mohammad Fayyad, such festivals are important during the month of Ramadan as part of the government’s positive intervention in the markets in order to meet families’ needs at discounted prices, to alleviate the burden of the cost of living on citizens and to contribute to activating the economic movement in the province.

Chairman of the Board of Al-Kinana Company for Exhibitions Kinana Alloush said that the festival will last until Eid Al-Fitr and it aims at supporting the citizens who were affected by the earthquake in Syria through securing goods to them at acceptable prices.

The festival also includes offers to encourage visitors to buy their needs in the light of the difficult living circumstances.
