The National Earthquake Center: 9 light tremors recorded during the past 24 hours
Damascus (ST): The National Seismological Center announced that the center’s stations recorded, since yesterday until 8:00 am this morning , 9 earthquakes with a magnitude of less than 3.6 degrees on the Richter scale.
The tremors were distributed, according to what the center announced on its official Facebook page, between two tremors in Alexanderetta , the first 43 km northwest of Idlib with a magnitude of 2.7, and the second 70 km northwest of Idlib with a magnitude of 2.5 degrees.
An earthquake northwest of Aleppo was recorded with a magnitude of 3.1 degrees, another in the sea southwest of Lattakia by 38 kilometers with a magnitude of 3.5 degrees, an earthquake southeast of Latakia by 11 kilometers with a magnitude of 2.9 degrees, another earthquake in the Gulf of Iskenderun with a magnitude of 2.2 degrees and 3 tremors in the Turkish mainland.
