Malaysia Calls for holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque

Malaysia called on the international community, led by the Security Council, to punish the Israeli occupation authorities for their attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the worshipers performing their religiuos rituals inside it.

Wafa Agency quoted the Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim as saying on his Twitter account that the attacks on worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque constitute a heinous crime, stressing the need for the international community to pressure the occupation to stop provocative actions, release all the Palestinian prisoners immediately, and preserve the status of Al Quds (Jerusalem) as a holy Islamic site.

The Malaysian PM  reaffirmd  the solidarity of the Malaysian government and people with the Palestinian people and standing by them.

For its part, the Malaysian Foreign Affairs Ministry condemned in a statement the illegal practices of the Israeli occupation forces and their flagrant violation of human rights. In addition, it reaffirmed Malaysia’s firm position on the side of the rights of the Palestinian people, foremost of which is the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the line of June 4, 1967, with Al Quds as its capital.
