Oman strongly condemns Israeli occupation forces’ storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque
Muscat-(ST) – The Sultanate of Oman strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and their assault on Palestinians and worshipers in it, and the arresting hundreds of them.
Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated in a statement on Wednesday that these vicious practices of the Israeli occupation represent a flagrant violation of the international and humanitarian law, which inflames the feelings of Muslims all over the world.
The Ministry called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in deterring the continuous provocative practices of the Israeli occupation that contradict international principles and norms of respect for religious sanctities.
The Ministry also stressed the necessity of enabling the Palestinian people to obtain their legitimate rights, ending the occupation and achieving a just and comprehensive settlement.
