Quadrilateral meeting of the assistant foreign ministers of Syria, Russia, Iran and Turkey begins in Moscow
Moscow, (ST) – The quartet meeting of the assistant foreign ministers of Syria, Russia, Iran and Turkey began on Tuesday at the guest house of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow.
SANA’s correspondent in Moscow stated that the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by Dr. Ayman Sousan, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates will focus in the meeting on three main points: the need to end the illegal Turkish presence on Syrian lands, non-interference in Syrian internal affairs, and combating terrorism in all its forms.
The Syrian delegation arrived in Moscow yesterday to participate in the quadrilateral meeting, and on the sidelines held talks with Mikhail Bogdanov, Special Representative of the Russian President and Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, and with Ali Asghar Khaji, Senior Assistant to the Iranian Foreign Minister for Special Political Affairs.
