Tartous (ST) – The activities of “Ramadan charity market” were held on Sunday at the exhibition hall in the old city of Tartous by Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with Tartous governorate. The event will last until the end of the month of Ramadan.
The market, in which more than 40 industrial companies from several governorates participate, includes food supplies such as oil and sugar, rural food products, leather, and clothes with discounts ranging between 20-50 percent.
The governor of Tartous Abdul Halim Khalil stated that the governorate provided facilitations for the establishment of this market with the aim of helping the citizens.
The head of the Tartous Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mazen Hammad, talked about presenting more offers and initiatives by the participants.
The director of the Syrian Trade Branch, Mahmoud Saqr, said that presenting the products exhibited in the halls distributed in various regions of the governorate increased the competition in prices.
It is noteworthy that the market is being held for the third time in a row.
